On behalf of Stephen and Adrienne Moore, we welcome you to AquaTech Swim School. Stephen and Adrienne developed the swim school in the Spring of 2006 and have successfully set up programming in 3 bay area locations.

Adrienne (maiden name Mattos) brings with her over 15 years of swim instruction and coaching experience. Adrienne established a teaching method that melds the world class swim training she received with a degree in psychology from UC Berkeley. When Adrienne met Stephen in 2005, he supported the transition from theory to practice and together they implemented her swim school model. This “Moore-Mattos Method” is now a fail-proof teaching technique that all AquaTech instructors are thoroughly trained to utilize. The AquaTech method and programming are developed around a theory of keeping children involved and excited about the skill and sport of swimming year round. Safety, family, friends, fun and fitness are all aspects of what we teach at AquaTech and are highly valued. The method molds easily to those in search of water safety, to those wanting to pursue a long term career in the sport of swimming. Having been a nationally ranked All American swimmer, Adrienne knows how dedication and work ethic translate into successful results. Adrienne began her swimming career at age 3 and has continued to pursue aquatic excellence.

Adrienne's aquatic achievements include:

• Nation's fastest high school woman in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle (1997)
• University of California at Berkeley school record holder in the 50 yard freestyle (1998-2001)
• NCAA top ten qualifier
• 2000 Olympic Trial Qualifier
• All American Status
• 50 and 100 yard freestyle performances still remain among the top ten performances of University of California at Berkeley Women's Swimming history

Stephen, a University of Oregon graduate, has been working with financial institutions for over 15 years. Stephen has supported JP Morgan, Visa, Bank of America and Wells Fargo with improving work flow management, budgeting process, organizational restructuring and Internet fraud prevention. As co-director of AquaTech Swim School, he brings a strong business background and understanding of what it takes to run a successful company.
