This interactive class is designed for babies and their parents to participate in the pool together. The class includes games, riddles, songs and props that are designed to help build your child's cognitive and physical development. A major class goal is for each parent to learn how to help their child achieve comfort in, around and under the water. Classes are 30 minutes in length and have a student teacher ratio of 6:1. Consistent exposure to the aquatic environment lays a foundation for a successful and happy young swimmer. - Starfish (Nervous Beginner Level)
This is a beginner level class designed for the nervous or fearful student who is not comfortable submerging their head under the water. Instructors will work towards full submersion, back floats and independent kicking while assisting the child to feel comfortable and confident in the water. Drills emphasizing breath control, buoyancy and proper kicks are practiced. Classes are 30 minutes in length and have a student teacher ratio of 3:1. This level is for the beginner student who is comfortable in the water and will submerge their head under water willingly. Students will learn the basics of breath control, body posture, kicking, floating and safety skills. Classes are 30 minutes in length and the student teacher ratio of the class is 4:1. - Silverfish & Goldfish (Kicking & Breathing Level)
These two levels are designed for children who have a solid comfort level in the water, can kick properly and float independently. The focus of the class is breathing technique development. The techniques learned will be used first for survival skills and later utilized in higher levels with formal strokes. Children will learn 2 different styles of breathing techniques while swimming an increased distance. Inhale and exhale breathing patterns will be focused on while combining with a proper kick. Safety is emphasized through a variety of drills. Classes are 30 minutes in length and the student teacher ration of the class is 4:1.

The beginning fundamentals of Freestyle and Backstroke are introduced in this level. The key focus of the class is to combine the breathing techniques from the previous level with a freestyle stroke (arms & legs). Backstroke body rotation will be added to the back kick. The exhale/inhale breathing exchange pattern from the previous level is perfected to fit with a well timed stroke. Continued streamline and posture drills are practiced. Safety is emphasized through a variety of drills. This class is 30 minutes in length and the student teacher ratio is 4:1. Breaststroke is introduced in this level, while both the freestyle and backstroke are practiced and maintained. Bi-lateral breathing is introduced to freestyle stroke. Body flow, posture, line and balance will be emphasized in the breaststroke. Exhale/Inhale breathing exchange rates for all strokes will be perfected.
